The brainchild of Ann Arbor TeaHaus’s owner, Lisa, Eat More Tea which opened today at 211 East Ann St is an adorable little cakery and gelateria. A side project of TeaHaus’ main business, Eat More Tea has been in the works for a while, but our patience was rewarded by a delectable soft open this afternoon. Unlike other dessert destinations, Eat More Tea’s treats are infused with various of TeaHaus’s terrific teas. I’m not sure how they do it exactly, but I’ve sampled it and found it thoroughly enjoyable. Eat More Tea features both pre-made desserts (including the macaroons that have been such a popular option in their cafe) as well as fancy, artistic and cute cakes one can special order for event needs. So far I’ve only tried the Le Touareg Truffle and the Coconut Green Tea Gelato, but both were rich, delicious and unique. Caveat emptor: you may leave craving a beverage. Very highly recommended!
