Numi has consistently been the tea i point people to who don’t have the time or interest to spend on loose leaf. Their CTC is some of the best I’ve yet encountered.
White Rose may prove their medal even more than most of their other products. In aroma, White Rose’s bright floral head of rose buds will send your mind flying to a memory of a greenhouse or parent’s flower garden. It’s exactly the kind of scent one would hope to find served in a fashionable tea room. The liquor itself isn’t especially interesting, except in that after a few spins on my lazy susan, pink rose petal pieces can be found scattered across the surface of the liquor. As incredible as White Rose’s aroma is, it almost takes a backseat to its flavor. The lush flavor of thorny rose water is present in every sip (the presence of White tea is notable but fairly repressed in powder form), its fragrance actually expanding inside the mouth. As White Rose is a CTC, there isn’t much texture, but after a few sips the tiny rose petals tickle the top of the mouth a bit.
I swoon. Can i bathe in this tea? Please?
