I didn’t want to let the entire summer slip by without reviewing any iced tea… but it also really wasn’t something i had time or money to dwell on this year. My apologies if today’s blog ends up being the only thing to write home about.
I always hate when iced teas are made with more sugar than tea, but in this case it works all right. Peach Iced Tea serves as the perfect aperitif to my Tuscan Eggs recipe I made for dinner.
Peach Iced Tea smells entirely like a Peach White tea, but tastes like an amazing home brewed iced tea. With a slighty tart aftertaste and White notes, I find Heart of Tea to be one of the very best iced teas I’ve ever tasted (no doubt owing to its very small batch of triple filtered water). I couldn’t replicate how well Heart of Tea tastes and thirst quenches. Heart of Tea is simply top notch iced tea. I wish I grabbed more than one bottle when I spotted it in a specialty wine store in Mount Pleasant…
But two months later, I found another bottle, along with three other flavors at a local large grocer. Obviously Heart of Tea is doing as well as I’d hoped. ;)
Check out the color tone of this tea. A gorgeous homogenous chocolate!
Sorry i haven’t concocted a rating scale for iced teas yet. You have my word that this one’s really good.
