I haven’t written any of this week’s posts from here in the hospital, but i wanted to push myself to do at least one.
Today This week I’m drinking Full Circle + Project 7 (Feed the Hungry)’s Organic Green Tea. Every two boxes of Full Circle + Project 7 tea sold, the company contributes one meal to someone starving in this country. I really like that sort of corporate culture. The tea itself? Well… it’s bagged and it’s far from the best I’ve ever had, but i knew i wouldn’t be able to steep any loose leaf tea here in the hospital. I definitely needed it to be Green and organic, and bagged, so i’ve accomplished my mission.
Full Circle + Project 7 Organic Green brews to a lovely amber. In flavor, it’s very similar to any average Chinese, Taiwanese or Ceylon Green. Refreshing though! ;)
I actually brought an entire small paper grocery bag full of bagged tea as one of my three travel bags, but so far I’ve only had this, Metro’s Decaf Irish Breakfast and the crappy stuff the hospital cafeteria puts on their menus (ie. Bigelow). Why would i bother with the latter? I need something to wash meals down with that doesn’t require energy to prepare. I know where in this hospital complex i can buy real loose leaf tea, but it’s a good half mile walk and would require me to be pushed there in a wheelchair. It might actually make for a good outing with my parents while they’re visiting, but i don’t have doctor’s approval of that yet.
I’m afraid more than a couple photos for this post are kind of out of the question. I’m lucky i regained enough feeling and control in my hands to write today’s blog.
