This week I was asked if i could prepare an Oolong tea for a house guest. I was very excited to do so but i stipulated that they offer me their sincere take on it since I rarely drink Oolong myself. Additionally, I’ve never had a guest review before (and wonder at the chances of getting one in the future). That being said, this review will be quite short.
Formosa Tung-Ting Jade Oolong is oxidized to only 18 percent and it’s possible I myself could have tried a sip or two without any serious repercussions, but at the time i’d forgotten. Formosa Jade is supposed to be very sweet and aromatic. Let’s see if that’s what my guest reviewer found.
“Light, doesn’t have overly strong flavors. Umm… I can definitely taste that it’s Oolong. No, I doesn’t taste any honey flavor. I do think it is better than other Oolongs I’ve had. I like it.”
And there you have it! Color me impressed. My first guess review (sort of).

I wonder if it’s really fair to even score this tea since i myself didn’t drink it. This is one Upton’s lowest scores. I did brew it and smell it… >.>
