Occasionally I like to report on the cheaper, down-to-Earth teas people might encounter in their daily lives. Republic of Tea is one such vendor. Commonly found in any grocery store tea aisle in the West, Republic of Tea boasts a great many styles and is probably best known for their summer Iced teas. Unfortunately I’m not big on Iced tea, so I’ll be reviewing one of their lesser known teas today. Which isn’t to say that this review will necessarily be getting more than the minimal amount of effort…
In aroma, Orange Blossom is exactly that (truth in advertising!). The liquor is a bit yellowed, possibly from long exposure to the round paper infuser. Flavor-wise, it’s a bit like orange zest meets bourbon? The cocktail fan will probably appreciate Orange Blossom. However, the texture is probably where Orange Blossom really shines: a Tippy White with a scratchy, barky consistency.

Not stellar, but not bad considering it’s a CTC.
