When i first opened Organic Sencha Fukamushi i was floored with how thick this matcha-like-without-being-a-true-powder appeared. When i poured it out onto my digital scale, i quickly exceeded the 2.25 gram weight without really having the ability to remove any excess weight. This tea is simply too dense to pick apart without ruining it.
In aroma, extraordinarily rich and leathery chlorophyllic sencha delights the nose. However, the really amazing aspect of this tea is its flavor. An out of this world smooth, vibrant Japanese Green that’s reminiscent of tencha but sweeter and lighter. I probably say this too often but, “I’m on cloud 9.” In texture, Organic Sencha Fukamushi resembles a ceremonial grade Chanoyu-served matcha: a thicky splotchy, whipped Green if ever there was one. Organic Sencha Fukamushi is easily an exciting Japanese Green tea lovers dream come true.

Nearly a Best in Class! If you like sencha, gyokuro, kabusecha, matcha, etc., you should really try a Fukamushicha. Especially, this one.
